After leaving Iwo-Kalabari, the Buguma peoples trading like the Kalabaris they opted to be a part of continued to trade and even had a seaport, the Bekin Kiri that one used to see while traveling around the sea from Tombia to Buguma. This is the land that looked yellow from Buguma. Then sometime in 1936, a ship came to Buguma with goods, and the Buguma people invaded the ship and stole everything, I mean everything, from that ship. Nothing, absolutely nothing was left. The ship was stripped bare. After that the insurers of ship stopped insuring ships coming to Buguma, or to put it another way, all ships were barred from ever going to Buguma.
